Back in June, Selena told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, “I have to do a few finishing things with it, but I'm just relieved. It took me four years now to even feel at a good place with this album, and it's just because I had such huge moments that happened in my life personally that 'how was I going to capture that?' And how was I actually gonna feel good about what I was saying?”

The rumour of the new album started back in the month of August when Gomez shared a picture of herself in a studio. To this, a source raised the anticipation by saying, “Selena has been working on new music and plans to release some this year. The new music is going to be a different side of Selena and very personal. Selena has gone through a lot over the years and is ready to share it with the world.”

The popstar even posted several pictures with lyrical captions teasing her fans to be ready for her upcoming songs. Then, she finally confirmed it via her social media handle leaving all the Selenators excited.

Now that the song has been released, Twitter is flooded with praises for the song. This is the first song to kick start Selena’s untitled upcoming album and fans could keep their calm for more.
