MUMBAI: Shah Rukh Khan was all over the news when it was reported that he saved Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s manager from a fire accident. Fans were going crazy on his heroic deed and now, one big name is added to the list of SRK’s admirers- Salman Khan.
The Tubelight star took to his Instagram handle and posted a video of King Khan from the song “Manwa Lage” in ‘Happy New Year’. In that clip, Khan’s shirt catches fire and evaporates, directly hinting to the bravery that Shah Rukh showed at Bachchan’s Diwali bash.
Salman also did a voice-over to the clip and said, “Hero woh hota hai jo aagme kudke, bujhake, bachata hai” which is a revised version of his dialogue from the movie 'Sultan', “Sab yeh sochte hai ki hero woh hota hai joh jeetta hai... mera yeh manana hai ki hero woh hai joh haarta hai... kyun ki wohi jaanta hai jeetne ki asli value.”
Shah Rukh while being at Bachchan’s Diwali party used his presence of mind and saved Archana Sadanand when her Lehenga caught fire due to a diya. A source said, “Archana was with her daughter in the courtyard when her lehenga caught fire. Those around were stunned and didn't know what to do. Shah Rukh had the presence of mind, rushed to Archana, and put out the fire. He, too, sustained minor burns while dousing the flames with a jacket. His only thought was to put out the fire.”
Both the Khans have a long history of their friendship where they were friends first, then had some differences and then again were back to being friends. Now, their bond is something precious to both the stars and they participate in promoting each other’s movies. Recently, SRK made a special appearance in ‘Tubelight’ while Salman did a song for ‘Zero’.
