MUMBAI: Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli Chandel is famous for her ill comments on celebrities. Both the sisters never fear to voice their opinions on anything no matter how controversial it is. Chandel now has a new target who is none other than Bollywood's famous filmmaker, Karan Johar and his upcoming drama 'Takht'.
Recently, Rangoli was engaged in a conversation on Twitter where several users made derogatory comments on Ramayana. At the moment, Kangana's elder sister saw an opportunity and takes a dig at Karan Johar and how he will play with the history by showcasing Aurangzeb's cruelty through his abs and relationships, just to add some amount of masala.
She wrote, "And now not surprisingly our dear Karan Johar is making a film on this cruel bloodline, he will depict Aurangzeb cruelty through his abs and sexual relationships."
She did not stop here and further wrote, "These dumb filmmakers need to be stopped from sexual depiction of historic characters, before they start their crying drama and claim that democracy is dead and bring international shame to the nation, I request authorities to ask them to submit their scripts."
We know that this is not the first time that Rangoli has given such strong statements. She has targeted nearly everybody from the industry and surely will continue to do so.
'Takht' is an upcoming period drama that is based on the fight to win the Mughal throne. Big names like Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor are associated with the project playing pivotal roles. The movie is slated to hit the theatres later in the year 2020.
