Today, the eminent choreographer turns a year older. Madhuri Dixit Nene who has collaborated with Khan in memorable projects like 'Ek Do Teen', 'Tamma Tamma', and 'Dhak Dhak Karne Laga' took to social media to wish her a very happy birthday with a heartfelt note. Sharing a picture of the two, the 'Devdas' actress wrote, "Happy birthday to one of my favourite [email protected] ji. Our journey together has been amazing and I will always be proud of the legacy you have created. You are my Guru and will always hold a very special place in my heart❤"

Saroj Khan has more than 2000 songs to her credit. She started her career at the early age of 3 with the film Nazarana as child Shyama. Her first breakthrough as a dancer came when she worked with Sridevi on the song Hawa Hawai for Mr. India. Following the song's success, there was no looking back for Saroj. What ensued was a string of dance hits with memorable steps. Khan went on to become one of the most successful Bollywood choreographers.
