MUMBAI: Wife Gauri Khan has a perfect idea for Shah Rukh Khan to make a strong comeback to the movies after his more than a year sabbatical from work. Reacting to Donald Trump's mention of SRK's superhit 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge' in his speech while visiting India, Gauri feels that the Baadshah of Bollywood should make its sequel.

SRK's fans were in a frenzy when US President Trump referred to his 'DDLJ' as a "classic film" along with another blockbuster 'Sholay'. When Mrs. Khan was asked how did she feel when her husband's film was acknowledged by the most powerful leader, she presented an idea and we are totally on board.

She said, "Maybe he (Shah Rukh Khan) should make part two of DDLJ. That's the next plan and I think he will do that. I am going to tell (DDLJ director-producer) Aditya Chopra to make part two, so every president and prime minister who enters India should discuss that."

We would love to see Raj and Simran back on the big screen with a different storyline or even with the same story, it would be a blockbuster if SRK and Kajol both star in it.

Gauri Khan is a professional interior designer herself and revealed that SRK has a great sense of design. She said that had he not been an actor, he would be a wonderful designer. "He does not get impressed by me but he himself loves design. I always say that if he was not an actor, he would be an architect -- 100 percent! He loves designs and follows designs. He loves modern and contemporary design. I recently designed a table and he gave me full marks. I got an A-plus, so that was a big win for me. I was super-excited because he knows what good design is, not because it's me. He would reject it if I didn't deliver on time. I recently designed his room in my house and he loved it, so that's a big win for me and I am quite excited about it," Gauri said while interacting with the media at Maison & Objet's 25th-anniversary celebration.

On the work front, Khan is yet to announce any of his upcoming projects. He was last seen in 2018 release 'Zero' alongside Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma that was a flop at the box office.
