MUMBAI: Considering how male-dominated our Bollywood is, it is always a great opportunity for any actress to get a role opposite Khans. However, actress Shraddha Kapoor once refused to work with B-wood's superstar Salman Khan and that's just because she was only 16 years old and had to focus on her education.
Shraddha herself revealed how hard it was to let go of such a huge offer to work with Salman. She said, "However, I felt that at the age of 15 or 16, I was too young and wanted to finish schooling and attend college. I don’t think getting offers back then has defined my success. But it was difficult to turn it down and focus on studies because it was such a fantastic opportunity to work with Salman Khan."
This does make us wonder that what possible role would the makers had in mind for Kapoor since she was only 16! She was only a kid so, it could not be that she would play the female lead opposite Salman.
Shraddha was last seen in 'Baaghi 3' opposite her 'Baaghi' co-star Tiger Shroff. The movie had a decent opening and was doing fairly well until the outbreak of coronavirus hit India. Since then as the theatres in nearly all states are closed, the movie suffered severely. Before that, she was seen in 'Street Dancer 3D' along with Varun Dhawan that collected 68 crores at the domestic box office.
Kapoor did see a fantastic gone by year. She was seen in two super hit movies that entered in 100 crore club- 'Saaho' and 'Chhichhore'. While 'Saaho' was an action-packed film starring 'Baahubali' star Prabhas, 'Chhichhore' was a heart-warming and fun-filled film with actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
