MUMBAI: Due to the global outbreak of coronavirus, actress Deepika Padukone has canceled her plans to attend the ongoing Paris Fashion Week.
The 'Chhapaak' actress was invited by the luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton to attend their show. It will be running till March 3rd. Concerned about the growing coronavirus epidemic, DP decided to cancel her trip.
An official spokesperson of Mastani said, "Deepika Padukone was scheduled to travel to France to attend Louis Vuitton's FW2020 show at the ongoing Paris Fashion Week but has had to cancel her trip with news coming in that the coronavirus epidemic has now entered a new stage in France."
On the work front, Deepika was last seen in the Laxmi Agarwal biopic 'Chhapaak'. The movie failed to do wonders at the box office owing to her JNU stint but she did receive great reviews.
She will be next seen in ''83' alongside real and reel life husband Ranveer Singh. The Kabir Singh directorial will trace the journey of the then captain Kapil Dev and his struggles that led him to win the first-ever World Cup for India in 1983. Padukone will be seen as Kapil's wife Romi Devi. ''83' will hit the screens on 10th April.
Next, she will also be seen in the official Hindi remake of Hollywood comedy hit flick 'The Intern' that starred Rober De Niro and Anne Hathaway. Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor will also be seen alongside her and the movie will be releasing in 2021.
