Celebrities Come To The Rescue Of Daily Wage Workers

MUMBAI: Many important members and superstars from the Indian film industry are coming together to help the less fortunate during these tough times where the country is under national lockdown in order to flatten the curve of rising coronavirus cases. Stars like Taapsee Pannu, Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday have taken the action to help the daily wage workers financially. Whereas Kamal Hasan has taken upon himself to address the situation with Narendra Modi, the prime minister of India.

The Art of Living Foundation has begun an initiative called, 'I Stand With Humanity' where many people belonging to the Indian Television industry and Bollywood are coming forward to lend their support towards this noble act. They will be providing daily wage workers with the necessary food supplies.

Ayushmann Khurrana took to Twitter to shower praises and raise awareness regarding the initiative.

Apart from this, newbie Ananya Panday also spoke about the grave circumstances and said, "I will make my contribution to the relief fund that has been set up by the Guild."

One of the most celebrated filmmakers Rajkumar Hinari also showed his support towards the initiative as he said, "Let’s take care of the daily wage earners. The film fraternity has come together to help wholeheartedly. I pledge to contribute & support this initiative."

Director-producer Karan Johar also made a Twitter post regarding the mentioned initiative.
