Keeping up with his title of Mr. Perfectionist, Amir Khan dazzles the internet with his first look as the turbaned Laal Singh Chaddha. For his role in the Hindi remake of the classic Tom Hanks film ‘Forrest Gump’, Amir is donning a turban and a long beard.
The ‘3 Idiots’ actor took to social media to share his first look from his much talked about movie where he is wearing a pink and blue checked shirt and a matching pink turban. He is visibly travelling in a train and is holding what we can assume to be a box of sweets.
He captioned the picture, “Sat Sri Akaal Ji, myself Laal...Laal Singh Chaddha.”

The filming recently kicked off in Chandigarh and some pictures from the sets of Laal Singh Chaddha surfaced online. Amir Khan was seen wearing the same shirt and turban with a pair of high-waist pants that finished at the ankles…very “Forrest Gumpy”.
Kareena Kapoor Khan was spotted looking pretty in pink. She was seen wearing a simple pink kurta with white pyjamas and a dupatta.
Earlier, moviegoers were skeptical about this Hindi remake of a classic English Oscar-winning movie. They did not want to tarnish the memories of their favourite Forrest Gump, so beautifully played by veteran actor tom Hanks. They felt Laal Singh Chaddha had some big shoes to fill.
However, fans are starting to gain some confidence as Amir Khan is doling out innocence through his sparkling eyes just like Forrest Gump.
Kareena Kapoor and Amir Khan will be starring together after seven long years. The movie is being directed by Advait Chandan.
On 6th November, Amir had shared the first look motion poster of the movie on Twitter and captioned it “Kya pata hum mein hai kahani, ya hai kahaani mein hum...”
The song playing in the background is composed by Pritam. The motion poster starts with a white feather floating in the sky as it forms the words “Aamir Khan in and as Laal Singh Chaddha. Christmas 2020.”
