200 Idli Vendors Sent Home To TN By Sonu Sood; Gets Honoured By Aarti

NEW DELHI: As the coronavirus lockdown still continues to persist in the nation, Sonu Sood is still busy doing his best to make sure every migrant reaches their home safely. As per the recent reports, the actor managed to send about 200 idli vendors belonging to Tamil Nadu back to their homes. They were working in Mumbai.

An Instagram post by the photographer Viral Bhayani mentioned that Sood arranged for buses for the food vendors. While he was there to see them off, a woman thanked him by performing an 'aarti' for him as he humbly accepted his kind act of attitude with his hands joined. The video which was shared also features the actor breaking the coconut before the journey for good luck.

Fans have been very supportive and were impressed by the immense act of kindness and selflessness the actor has been carried out ever since the lockdown began and the struggles of migrant workers emerged. Some of the comments by his fan read, "This is what people with privileges do for others!!! He has all my respect. I wish him more success! The society needs more of him. Bollywood actors should learn something from him."

Apart from this, Trivendra Singh Rawat, the Chief Minister from Uttrakhand also thanked Sonu for sending Migrant workers belonging to the state stranded in Mumbai via a chartered flight. 

On the social media, Rawat made a post regarding a brief conversation between him and Sood within which he mentioned, "Talked to film actor Sonu Sood today on phone to thank him for his humanitarian gesture. He and all religious and social organisations that helped migrants return to their home states have done a commendable job."
