LUCKNOW: The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath has stated that government school teachers of the state should be exposed to learning foreign languages for a better employment opportunities in abroad.

The UP CM was in Gorakhpur when he said, “The demand for Indian teachers is highest in the world and our teachers can take advantage of the situation. An effort should be made to upgrade the qualifications of teachers in the country so that there can be a qualitative improvement in the teaching staff.”

He also feels that institutions should make an effort to discover the schools from abroad who are in need of teaching staff. Hence, government school teachers should take up the foreign language to learn accordingly. Yogi Adityanath also wants the identified languages to be a part of the curriculum.

However, the BJP leader also revealed that almost 70% individuals who were part of the recruitment examination for graduate teachers, failed. The exam was organised by the UP Basic Education Board.

“This indicates that special attention needs to be paid to the quality of teachers so that the students can also hope for better education,” he further stated.
