CBSE’s App To Locate Board Exam Centres. Know More

NEW DELHI: The Central Board Of Secondary Education or CBSE had launched an app to make the process of locating centres for board examination easier. The app came out in 2019 and had 5000 hits in the app store. It is also android based.

The Board exams are all set to begin from February 15. CBSE Schools have started to issue the admit cards. It contains the following details which is necessary for the examinations:

  • Exam centre details
  • Subjects
  • Subject code
  • Centre code

The app is available on Google Playstore under the name of ‘ CBSE ECL app’.

The board says, “The Exam Centre Locator App-CBSE ECL APP- is an android based mobile app which can be used by students to locate their examination centre and see the distance between current location and examination centre.”

The app was launched on 14 February 2019. CBSE has also issued a circular to inform about the existing app. It has also requested schools to do it’s part and pass over the information to the students. It is worth 6.1 MB of storage and currently contains 99 reviews.
