Uber Bike Share is finally getting tested in New Delhi and will soon reach every one of you out there.
No, we are not talking about Uber Bike or Ola Bike those are different. Bike-sharing means anybody can share the ride with someone going in the same direction. You do not need a commercial bike number for this.
You will be able to book a ride for yourself too if someone is going in the same direction as you.
Delhi, your first two-wheeler Uber ride is here. Now you can ride along with a fellow Delhiite going your way, with Uber BikeShare. It just got easier to #LeaveYourCarBehind pic.twitter.com/zHuDQVBXMP— Uber India (@Uber_India) November 7, 2019
This feature is not released properly yet but pilot testing is going on as of now. The feature is said to match riders with riders yes not drivers but other riders going in the same direction.
This can be a perfect solution for people who travel short distances many times in a day. Uber is deploying its Uber bike drivers in the pilot testing phase instead of actually matching with other riders.
The thing to notice is the price. If we compare the Uber bike-sharing price with Ola Bike, Rapido or others then these are definitely cheaper. Uber is also aiming to connect metro stations with Bike at just Rs.5.
Uber is connecting the metro stations in New Delhi with bike rides, that too at a super affordable price of just Rs 5.
