Kunal Khemu starrer 'Lootcase' is all about chasing the lost suitcase filled with money. It has the element of comedy and there are all kinds of drama around the big bag loaded with cash.

The movie is centred around a suitcase that gets lost and from a political leader to a don, everyone is after that bag. But guess who got the bag? Yes, a common man who is fed up with his basic life and lives with a limited amount of money. The character essayed by Kunal Khemu is shocked when he receives the bag filled with an enormous amount of money. Who gets the bag at the and who will be successful at this chase is what the story will reveal.

The movie was supposed to hit the theatres on 11th October but the makers had some changes in their initial plans. Since there was a lot of competition around the film including 'War' and 'The Sky is Pink', the makers decided to directly release the movie with a streaming partner. A source close to the project earlier said, “The makers had a meeting on Saturday and decided to not go ahead with the theatrical release of Lootcase. They are confident of the product but they are aware that the buzz is very low. Moreover, the star cast, though appealing, is not big enough to pull audiences to cinemas. Not to forget, there’s too much competition in the form of War, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Joker releasing this week on October 2 and The Sky is Pink releasing on October 11, the day Lootcase was scheduled to arrive. It’s also pre-Diwali period when people are busy with shopping and other activities and turnout anyway is low. All these factors would have affected the collections of Lootcase, even if it gets positive word of mouth.”

Now, even those plans are changed and the movie will get released on the big screens only. Fox Star Studios took to Twitter to announce that it will come in theatres at a later date. The release date is yet to be announced and we are excited to find out what this suitcase has in store for us.
